Lord Kagan returns to face theft charges

Aug. 08, 1980 - Lord Kagan Returns to Face Theft Charges - Lord Kagan, the 65 year-old Gannex raincoat maker and a close friend of the former Prime Minister Sir Harold Wilson, arrived back in Britain last night, and will appear in court at Leeds today on 440, 000 theft and fraud charges. Lord Kagan disappeared from his Yorkshire home in 1978 going to America and then on to Israel, and then on to Spain before crossing into France for a business deal and was detained by Paris Police.
