With Lady Mancroft at the controls, Lord Mancroft went for a spin on the world's first fully automatic scooter, to sell at under £100 during a demonstration at the Festival Hall yesterday of the new Triumph Tina. It is claimed to be the world's cheapest fully automatic scooter. Basic price is £93 9s. It is in light blue, has a 100 cc engine giving 4 hp at 5, 000 rpm. The transmission is automatic with no clutch or gear lever, does 100 mpg at 40 mph with two up.
