May 05, 1973 - Lord Lambton Makes A Statement And Admits He Had A Casual Acquaintance With A Call Girl': Lord Lambton, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Defence for the Royal Air Force, yesterday resigned his position in the Government. Today in a statement he said I had a casual acquaintance with a call girl, but there has been no security risk and no blackmail. I have no excuses whatsoever to make.
