May 27, 1976 - May 27th 1976 - the Earl of Lucan's coronet and coronation robe sold by auction at Christie's for £520. A silver gilt Coronet and an Earl's Coronation robe, the property of the missing Earl of Lucan, was sold by auction at Christie's today by order of the trustee in bankruptcy. It was sold for £520. Photo shows: Miss Philippa Mansergh pictured with the coronet and coronation robe which she bought for £520 on behalf of AVG Antiques today
