Feb. 02, 1981 - The Lord mayor receives pearly mug and plate: The Lord Mayor Sir Ronald Gardner-Thorpe, received six Pearly Kings and Queen as the Mansion House today, when he received a gift of a Pearly Mug and Plate from Sir Arthur Bryon, Chairman of Wedgwood. Also in attendance was Lord and Lady Elwyn-Jones. lady Elwayn-Jones designed the Mug and Plate.
