More than 400 Years of British Empire Were Recalled in a Unique Manner today when Descendants of Sir Francis Drake, Pocahontas, Sir Walter Raleigh, Stanley and Livingtone and Many others Connected with British History met at a Reception is London. Guest of Honour was lord Moonthetten of Burma, last Viceroy of India, who spoke on the British Empire, its history and the future to the Guests. The Reception was held at the United Services and Royal Aero Club to mark the Inception of a 98-part history of the British EMpire, the first part of which is being published this Wednesday by Time-Life and the BBC to Coincide with a major Series of Colour Television Programmes on the Empire to be broadcast on BBC-1 Over 13 Weeks from tomorrow.
