Lord Mountbatten at Hovershow 66
Jun. 06, 1966 - Britain's Hovercraft shop-window exhibition Hovershow 66 opens at Browndown. During the five days of Hovershow 66 which was opened by the show's patron, Lord Mountbatten at Browndown, near Portsmouth today, more than 100 ministers, Government Advisers, Under Secretaries and Defence personnel, representing nearly every Ministry, will be present.
