Lord Mountbatten opens Lokamanya Tilak House, London
Jan. 01, 1962 - Hostel for Indian Students opened in London this morning: Admiral of the Fleet Earl Mountbatten of Burma this morning formally opened at 60 Tablot Road, London, W 2, the Lokamanya Tilak House which is to be an hostel for Indian students in London. It is named after the Indian Political leader who centenary of his birth was celebrated in 1956.
