Future husband is Peter Cawthorn, 22, Australian tennis player, who has abandoned his own ambitions of a Wimbledon title and turned professional coach in order to marry her. Britain's brightest prospect in 1940 and 1950, when she twice won the junior title. The injuries and her career as a model retarded her progress.
