Loudspeaker wars at border of East and West Berlin
Jul. 07, 1962 - Loudspeaker against loudspeaker: There was a real loudspeaker war held recently at the Berlin border. After the East German police started to build a new wall there, a loudspeaker car of the SAS (Studio am Stacheldraht - Studio at the Barbed Wire) arrived. This car is used by the West Berlin senate for information of the East German police at the border. A little later, at the other side of the border, a loudspeaker car of the East German police came up trying to drown the voice of the SAS loudspeaker with music and communist slogans
