Nov. 14, 1969 - The central committee of the Union of Democrats for the Republic confirmed the decision to impeach Louis Vallon (pictured) from political office. The decision was motivated by a pamphlet titled The Opposite of de Gaulle which was published by Vallon and directed against Georges Pompidou
