Feb. 29 Italian Soccer Getting Livelier.. The Inter soccer club of Milan has offered Cagliari club I, 3 billion lire (2.08 million, 867.000 pounds) for the contract of Luigi RIVA, the left wing. Riva finished the season last month with a total of 20 goals, far more than any other player in the Italian League.
