Lynda Baron, New Queen of Satire
1972 - Cleaning Up With The New Queen Of Satire: As the time near for the BBCs new satire show which will replace Not so Much... Lynda Baron, who is Eleanor Bron's successor is making the most of her little spare time by cleaning up in her new London flat. On this task Lynda, red-headed and twenty five, is helped by her daughter Sarah aged 2 1/2. Being a realist, Lynda -resses properly for the job in hand - and what more suitable attine for a Summer days scrubbing, than a bikini, and especially when you have a figure like Lynda's and a daughter who likes to help make a splash. Lynda still appears nightly at The Talk of the Town, but will be free for the weekly television programme by arrangement.
