Jul. 07, 1967 - Lynda Bird Johnson attends sale of designs by the Late King of Comic postcards': A collection of 175-water-colour designs by the late Donald McGill, the King of the Comic postcards, was put up for auction yesterday at Sotheby's, in London. The design, all for his seaside postcards, were signed by McGill, with the captions on the back. Among those attending the sale was Lynda Bird Johnson, 23-year-old daughter of the U.S. President.
