Machine that records instructions for production process

Mar. 03, 1962 - Tape recorder for tool machines: This is no music box with built in tape recorder but a magnetic band instrument on which the orders are recorded which will work a tool machine. The recorder is worked by a push of the button. The whole process: a magnetic band records the things the tool machine will have to do like the Hollerith system, a translation machine reads the strip and gives the orders to a brain system. This keeps the orders until over a Servo unit the orders are given to the tool machine itself
