Major General Remer, trial in Oldenburg, Germany

Jul. 07, 1965 - At Present before the court: is the former Major General Remer in Oldenburg. On 20 July 1944 he knocked down the rebellion against Hitler in Berlin - now he is charged with cheating, malfeasance and falsification of documents. The public prosecutor moved one year and three months imprisonment a fine and an inhibition to pursue his business as machine dealer for three years. A co-defendant of the former Major General is the merchant Gunther Engels, who was already in October 1963 sentenced to one year and nine months imprisonment.
