Feb. 26 Dancing Men Are Actually the active elements in a new type of control device that uses fluids - either gas or liquid - to do some of the same jobs as electronic components. The elements are etched in thin metal plates which are stacked to form solid blocks that are complete circuits. Called fluidics, this new technology is finding a place in a wide range of applications from spacecraft to milling-machine controls. These fluidic elements were developed and built in the research laboratories at Martin Marietta Corporation's Orlando (Fla.) division
