THE 15, 000 TONS OF CORK WHICH MOVED THROUGH PORT NEWARK IN 1953 REPRESENTED A THIRD OF THE CORK IMPORTS IN THE PORT OF NEW YORK. MOST OF THE CORK IS CONSIGNED TO NORTH NEW JERSEY INDUSTRIES
