Dec. 12, 1972 - Girls Help To Design Ships In Japan: Another victory for women's lib, are girls who help design ships in Japan by using a Conversational Analyzer Drafting System (C.A.D.S) at one of the major shipyards in Japan (Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries). The system allows designs for ships to be graphically displayed, altered by trial-and-error, measured and fed into a computor. it cuts down designing time, and results in a very advantageous cost performance.
