Marcelle Nino sentenced at Cairo court, Egypt
Jan. 01, 1956 - Egypt Hangs Two Israeli Spies'. Marcelle Nino Sentenced To Fifteen Years Hard Labour: Dr Moussa Marzouk and Samuel Azar a teacher sentenced to death as members of a Zionist Spy Ring were hanged in Cairo today. Dr Marzouk a House Surgeon of French nationality and Azar were among 13 alleged in Cairo last Thursday. Six others including Marcelle Nino were sentenced to terms of imprisonment ranging from seven years to life. It is reported that demonstrations were held in Israel calling on Israel's armed forces to Give Egypt her reply'.
