Margit Kolb, Wein vom Rhein Queen
Mar. 22, 1967 - Pictured is the Wein vom Rhein Queen Margit Kolb (left). She went on a world tour to show off and represent wine from the Rhein. The wine glass was a symbol for it. She went to London, San Francisco, Sidney, Melbourne, Singapore, and Bangkok to sell her region's famous product. She also had a Rosenthal-Rhein Wine Glass made by Claus J. Riedel. The high point of the trip will be the Australian wine fest in Adelaide
