Aug. 08, 1954 - Margot Fonteyn rehearses for the Firebird'.: This afternoon a rehearsal was held at the Covent Garden Opera House, for the new production of the ballet Firebird, which will be performed for the first time at the Empire Theatre, Edinburgh (Edinburgh Festival) on Monday, August 23rd, 1954, as part of the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the death of Diaghilev.
