Apr. 05, 1949 - Mrinalini Sarabhai, who injured her foot during performance, attends reception at British Council. A reception was held by the British Council this morning for the Indian dancers who are appearing at St Martin's Theatre, London. The reception was attended by Mrinalini Sarabhai the leader of the troupe, who last night collapsed after completing her performance with an injured foot. She trod on a glass bead during a rehearsal and cut her foot, but insisted on taking part in the show in spite of being in great pain.
