May 05, 1955 - Heavy guns in Moscow Mayday Parade, Marshal Zhukov makes speech; Marshal Zhukov, wartime Russian C. in C. and now minister of Defence made his first major political speech at the traditional May Day Military parade in Moscow's Red Square. He said that the workers of all countries were demonstrating their solidarity in the struggle against imperialism, oppression and colonialism'.
