Martin Webster, leader of National Front, at Scotland Yard

Feb. 02, 1978 - Leader of the National Front Martin Webster called to Scotland Yard: National Front leader Martin Webster was called to Scotland Yard today to explain the party's plans for a by election rally at Ilford on Saturday. This follows the ruling by the Police of no political processions throughout London for the next two months. This came into being because the National Front were going to hold a march through Ilford North in support of their candidate standing in the by election on Saturday. Voting takes place on March 2nd.
