Mary Aiese of Reparata and the Delrons, American group
THE MYSTERY OF REPARATA'. One of the most unusual group names to come up for several years has been Reparata and the Delrons. Just how did they come up with this unusual name? Well, very simple really, they chose Delrons during a period when Del was in vogue for group names and Reparata is the middle name of the group's leader, Mary Aiese. The three girls who make up the group, Reparata, Lorraine Mazzola and Nanette Licari - are different from most pop personalities in that they are all still students at Brooklyn College - and all want to be teachers depending on the success or failure of their musical careers. For they are all talented musicians and songwriters, and with the success of their record Captain of Your Ship there seems no doubt that they are all set for big success
