The Mary Bell Murder Case

Jan. 01, 1970 - (exact date unknown) - Pictured: GEORGE BROWN and his wife JUNE RICHARDSON - parents of Martin Brown - one of the two children killed by 11 year old Mary Bell. Mary Bell became notorious at 11 after being convicted of strangling two small boys. Mary Bell was sentenced to life detention for the manslaughter of 4 year old Martin Brown and 3 years old Brian Howe, at Scots cod, Newcastle. The police launched an investigation and Mary Bell was arrested on Saturday 25th May 1968
