Jan. 01, 1967 - THE MOST DANGEROUS LADY IN THE LAND. In a little transport cafe under the shadow of Battersea Power Station in London, works the most dangerous lady in the land. She looks harmless enough, washing dishes, a lotus blossom from Japan brightening the London scene. But this is a killer in a kimono. MISS MASAE HAYASHI is the only woman to hold a black belt for karate in the country. She says she could smash every chair in the cafe to kindling wood. I came to work here five months ago, she said. I opened up the basement to give lessons. Three men came the first night. They never came back. Her father paid her fare to London so she might train under the great professor Suzuki. He's a seventh dan. I'm only a first. He taught me at home from when I was 19. Now she trains with Suzuki three nights a week. She has no idea when she is going home to Japan. I like it here in the cafe. I think I want to stay and be a great instructor like Suzuki.
