May 05, 1973 - Chinese art treasures on show in Paris. An exhibition of recently excavated ancient Chinese works of art, one on exhibition at the Petit Palais in Paris, where it will be on show until Sept 2. Later in September the exhibition will be held at the Royal Academy in London. Photo shows:- A suit made completely of jade pinned together with gold thread. It was discovered in 1968 in the tomb Teoou-Wan A man -Tch'Eng (hopei). The suit consists of 2, 156 pieces of jade, and the gold used to keep it together weighs 703 grams. It was the funeral investment of Teou Wan, Princess of Tchong-Chan
