Jul. 07, 1958 - Memorial For the resistance group against the Third Reich: The rector of Munich Ludwig-Maximilian-University, Professor Egon Wiberg, unveiled on July 12th, 1958 in the Munich University a memorial to Professor Kurt Huber and his anti-Nazi-circle of the White Rose, brother and sister Hans and Sophie Scholl, Hans Leipelt and Alexander Schmorell, who were murdered by the Nazis. The memorial is at the same place where the White Rose threw their pamphlets against the Nazis in the court of the university. Photo Shows Professor Weiberg and the memorial
