May 05, 1953 - Children at Robes and Insignia exhibition: Schoolchildren from the Hyde Park Girls school at Doncaster, Yorkshire, who are in London on a week's holiday, are shown over the Exhibition of robes and Insignia in the Royal Robing Room, House of Lords, by Mr. Joseph Mayes, a member of the staff of the Palace of Westminster. The robes, from left to right are: The Royal Victorian Order (blue with red edgings and gold tassels), which Goronet; and the order of St. Michael and St. George (Royal blue). The exhibition is open to the public
