Sep. 09, 1953 - Ivor Novello's home opened as Convalescene for members of the Theatrical profession. Ivor Novello's home, Redroofs, near Maidenhead, was opened today by the Lord Mayor of London, Sir Rupert De le Bere, as a convalescent home for the members of the theatrical profession. H The house which was left to Mr. Novello's friend, Mr. Robert Andrews, has been acquired by the Actor's Benevolent Fund for the purpose. Photo shows a view of Ivor Novello's home Redroofs after the opening ceremony today
