Sep. 09, 1955 - German Animal Saver Medal to Mr. Albert Schweitzer. The Animal Saver Union of Germany has pressed a medal that will be handed to persons who are well known for their love to animals. The first man who woll receive it is Albert Schwetzer. It will be handed during the World Week for Animal Saving from Okt. 3rd to 9th. OPS The medal, sketched by prof. Georgii, showing the royal court assistent Ignaz Perner, who founded the Union at Munich 114 years ago, a movement, which is nowadays alife all over the world
