Feb. 02, 1958 - Preview of London's first Planetarium: A preview was held this morning of London's first Planetarium which is in the form of a huge Copper Domed Building constructed alongside the Madame Tussauds Waxworks in Baker Street. The Planetarium instrument itself which is of German manufacture cost about £70, 000. Londoners will be able to see the courses of the stars projected on the London skyline. Events which normally take weeks and years will be speeded up to occupy only a few minutes. Photo shows the exterior of the huge dome which houses the Planetarium ready for the opening in May. A Replica of one of the planets can be seen on top
