Feb. 02, 1958 - Preview of London's first planetarium; A preview was held this morning of London's first Planetarium which is in the form of a huge copper domed building - constructed alongside the Madame Tissauds Maxworks in Baker Street. The Planetarium instrument itself which is of German manufactures cost about70, 000. Londoners will be able to see the courses of the starts projected on the London Skyline. Events which normally take weeks and years will be speeded up to occupy only a few minutes. Photo Shows The exterior of the huge dome which houses the planetarium ready for the opening in May.
