Jan. 09 Lord Montgomery presented war memorial Field Marshal Viscount Lord Montgomery today presented the Luneburg War Memorial to the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. The Luneberg Memorial was originally erected at Lundeberg Heath to mark the spot where the allies received the surrender of the German Forces. The memorial was brought to England in four sections for the re-erection ceremony. Keystone Photo Show: Lord Montgomery takes the salute at the march past this morning at Sandhurst
