Feb. 25 Dutch authorities cleaning - up action in Amsterdam infested by hippies.: Ever since the Dutch authorities decided to clean-up Dam Place in Amsterdam taken over by hundreds of hippies of all nations. Each night there are quarrels between them and the police, each time tens of arrests are made. Slowly theres a back home movement developing, visible reducing the numbers of hippies camping there, leaving only extremists behind whom the police can deal with much easier because of their smaller numbers.
