Feb. 29 In the museum of New York City there is a miniature copy of the picture about the purchase negotiations of Peter Minuit with the Indians in 1626. In the center you are seeing Peter Minuit clad as a nobleman of his time. At his feet we see the goods as equivalent for the island: Material, one copper-kettle, some hatchets, agricultural implements and a box with silver and pearls. the goods had the value of 60 dutch florins (24 dollars)
