Feb. 26 Chartwell To Be Opened To Public: The National Trust have chosen June 22nd as the opening date for Chartwell, Sir Winston Churchill's home at Westerham, Kent, which was bought and presented to the Trust by a group of his friends in 1947. It will be open until the end of November 1966 - thereafter from March to November. Photo shows View of Sir Winston's study at Chartwell, showing the original beams
