Jun. 06, 1961 - New Armouries At The Tower Of London: An extension to the armouries at the Tower of London, which will allow many items in the collection to be shown for thefirst time, will be opened tomorrow by the Minister of works. The extension is a three storey red brick building near the White Tower where the main collection of arms and armour is displayed.
