Jun. 06, 1961 - New Armmouries At The Tower Of London: An extension to the armouries at the Tower Of London, which will allow many items in the collection to be shown for the first time, will be opened tomorrow by the Minister of works. the extension is a three-story red brick building near the White Tower where the main collection of arms and armour is displayed. Photo Shows: Photo Shows: The Far East is represented by cases displaying arms and armour from China, Tibet, Bhutan and Japan. This Chinese General's uniform (c.1850) was given by Miss Winifred Wilkinson
