Jun. 06, 1962 - Professor Hahn reconstructed a historical moment: On the way back from the meeting of the Nobel-Prize winners in Lindau Professor Otto Hahn visited the German Museum in Munich on June 30th, 1962 in order to reconstruct a historical moment here. On the very simple apparatus which is now in the museum Prof. Hahn showed again how he worked out the parting og the uranium by neutrons in December 1938 by help of his collegue Fritz Strassmann (Strassmann) - left -. Prof. Hahn's discovery was the base for the later technical use of atomic energy. Photo shows on the right Prof. Haber (Haber) who has captured this imported moment in pictures for the television
