Feb. 02, 1961 - Day of the Red Army: As in every year, also on Feb. 23rd, 1961, the Day of the Red Army, an unarmed company of honour of Soviet soldiers marched through the Brandenburg Gate into West-Berlin to the monument of victory of the Soviets.
