May 28, 1971 - A Miniature-Venezia built near St. Tropez at Cote D'azur: These holidday-makers do not pass through the Canale Grande in Venezia but through the lagoon-village Port Grimaud at the Cote d'Azur. In the last years-according to the designs and plans fo tbe architect Francis Spoerry from Mulhausen-a fishing-village with all modern luxury was built at the gulf of St. Tropez (only about 3 miles from the prominent place). Colourful fishing-houses are situated around the port up to the centre of Port Crimaud which does not only have a wonderful very long beach but also an own townhall, own police station, post and bank, a congress-hall and even a church. A marvellous place-at present not yet overcrowded-where one simply has to feel well
