Dec. 12, 1971 - The Big Olympic lake is ready: Water was pouring into the basin of the big lake created specially for the olympics 1972. Apart from enhancing the environment, it will also be functional: rain water collecting on the roof of the big stadium will be diverted into the lake. After the games are over the lake will be available to the public for boating in the summer and for skating in the winter. During the next few days a few bottles will be swimming on the surface anyone managing to grab one will get a voucher for a Waldi a dachshund the official mascot of the Olympics 1972
