Oct. 16, 1979 - Model Dinosaurs : Model Dinosaur, probably the most scientifically accurate in the world, went on display at the Natural history Museum today. The glass - fibre models show what dinosaurs looked like in the flesh. They are up to 1/5th life size. making the model of the giant diplodocus 17 feet from head to tail.
