Oct. 10, 1980 - Hamburg/West Germany Exhibition of Klaubauf masks in the Museum Fur Volkerkunde'. Cornelia Sikora, budding actress of the actor's school of Margot Hofner seems not to be frightened, when approaching the Terryffying Klaubauf masks from Ostirol and the gasteiner Land/Austria, which are to be seen in the Museum Fur Volkerkunde is the compagnion of Santa Claus in some country parts of Austria and Bavaria. The masks are no folk-art of the past, but witnesses of a still living custom. The masks are dating from the last 150 years and have become more frightening in the course of their development. To a great extend they are produced by lays on long winter evenings and they can be seen in Hamburg until October 9, 1980
