Messmer and Giscard d'Estaing, photographers strike
Mar. 20, 1974 - In an effort to protest against a law that prevents them from having permanent surveillance at the entrances and exits of the Elysee Palace, these press photographers refused to take pictures of the Ministers leaving their Council meeting yesterday afternoon. With their arms crossed and their cameras on the ground, press photographers watch Pierre Messmer and Giscard D'Estaing leave the Elysee Palace without a photo opportunity
