1964 - The Chaplin Black Sheep'; It has been revealed that there is a rift between 18-year-old Michael Chaplin and his comedian father the great Charlie Chaplin. Michael was in Ireland with his ballet dancer friend Janine Cordell recently, and they left just one hour before Charlie arrived to see him. Young Michael has been working as a greengrocer, but gave up his job to try to become an actor, and he says that he couldn't face his father while he was out of work. For a time Michael lived with Janine's family, but is now sharing a flat with a friend in Hampstead, London.
