1965 - Oona Chaplin rebukes her Beatnik son Oona Chaplin, the 39 year old wife of Charlie, last night publicly rebuked her beatnik son Michael (18) after reports that he had drawn National Assistance. Michael is the eldest of their eight children and married writer Patrice in February in Scotland after father had refused permission for them to marry in Spain earlier. They have a child Christian.
